Jennifer Burrell Marks graduated in 1996 as Apex’s most decorated cheerleader and has since become one of the most influential cheer coaches in North Carolina and the nation. As a two-time All-American and team captain at Apex, she continued her excellence at NC State, where she helped win the 2001 National Championship. Her coaching career has been nothing short of extraordinary—she’s won 25 NC State Championships, three Cheersport National Championships, and has been named NC Coach of the Year twice and NFHS National Coach of the Year. Now serving as the head cheerleading coach at NC State while maintaining her role at Cardinal Gibbons, Jennifer continues to make Apex proud through her philosophy of love, respect, and discipline.
